In early August Team Dragonsteel and Brotherwise Games attended Gen Con. Their highlight panel showed off the best of the Cosmere, with evolutions of old games and upcoming debuts for new ones.
Ryan Cahill’s dragons are like his fantasy: deadly, grounded, and deep. The Bound and the Broken is his series of epic fantasy novels, chock full of dragons, magic swords, and tearjerking character moments.
Team Dragonsteel is in Indianapolis, Indiana for Gen Con 2026. The Dragonsteel Booth is set up in the exhibitor hall at booth #1149, right beside Steve Argyle. Brotherwise Games is set up in the exhibitor hall at booth #339, where they’ll have many of the Cosmere’s games.They also have ticketed events and demos in room #133, which is the only place you can pick up the Cosmere RPG.
Ash fell from the sky. Two decades ago, this iconic line started the story that set the Cosmere in motion. The world of ashfalls and allomancers, of kandra and koloss—the world of Mistborn reaches its twentieth birthday on July 17th of this year.
Accounts and depictions of dragons are as varied as the dragons themselves. Dragons have remained a staple of fantasy literature since Tolkien, and with the translation of the fantasy genre to new media, dragons too have been translated. One thing is certain, though: When the smoke clears from any nerd argument or deep lore discussion, here, there be dragons.
