Accounts and depictions of dragons are as varied as the dragons themselves. Dragons have remained a staple of fantasy literature since Tolkien, and with the translation of the fantasy genre to new media, dragons too have been translated. One thing is certain, though: When the smoke clears from any nerd argument or deep lore discussion, here, there be dragons.
What we don’t know is why, 10,000 years ago, the shards decided that Adonalsium needed to go. And we don’t know how the conflict between them is going to end.

BRANDON: Why should you read the Wheel of Time? Well, the Wheel of Time is excellently written. Robert Jordan’s mastery of prose is unparalleled in writing. I think he’s one of the best with viewpoint and with just descriptions that we have.The Wheel of Time feels kind of luxurious in its writing compared to a lot of contemporary sci-fi/fantasy. There’s just a feel to them that I really like that you might enjoy as well.
