This week Team Dragonsteel and Brandon Sanderson are at home in Utah for FanX in Salt Lake City! We’re bringing the booth and the best offerings this side of the Cosmere. Items that have debuted at conventions around the world this year are available here, and Brandon is participating in events and signings all weekend long.
Meet Up with Brandon Sanderson
Brandon Sanderson will be attending, with a round of traditional and lightning signings and three panel appearances. You can see his full guest schedule on the FanX programming website. He’ll have traditional and lighting signings throughout the convention, and there are still tickets available for his lightning signings. You can sign up for those free tickets on the FanX guest author portal.
On Friday at 2pm he will be on stage in Room 251A for The Battle of the Tropes. He participated in last year’s hilarious Tropes panel, and this year’s promises to be just as fun. With guest authors Adalyn Grace, Brandon Mull, Chloe Gong, Marie Lu, and Tracy Deonn on the game show stage, they’re sure to entertain us. After the convention, this panel will also be posted to Brandon’s YouTube channel.
That night at 8pm he will be playing Magic: The Gathering with Brandon Routh, Janina Gavankar, and Seth Green during a commander game with proceeds going to NerdHQ, the charity partner Brandon teamed up with for the Next Step Coin. Both initiatives help make resources available for those struggling with mental health problems.
On Saturday he will conclude with a 2:00pm spotlight panel in the Grand Ballroom. This is the place to be for some of Brandon’s biggest announcements of the year and has historically included reveals of stunning new art, new plans for Dragonsteel, and more.

Team Dragonsteel is setting up our full booth in the exhibitor hall at booth space 1568.
