Dragonsteel is Headed to Celsius 232! (+ A Message From the Bureau)

We're packing our bags (and at least three suitcases of pins) because Team Dragonsteel is following Brandon to Spain for Celsius 232! If you're joining the celebration in Avilés next week, be sure to stop by our booth. We’re bringing signed books, fan-favorite swag, and some brand-new items we’re super excited to share with our international Worldhoppers.

This is our first Celsius, and we’re going all out. That means bringing all the best from home, including a few exclusive extras we’re debuting at the festival.

“Our priority was to bring some new things that we haven’t released to everybody yet,” Kara Stewart (Dragonsteel's vice president of merchandise and events) told us. “But the other consideration was weight. We’re bringing signed books, because these are the heavy things that are hard to ship internationally cost-wise. We thought: what can we bring that they won’t have to pay shipping for?”

Needless to say, we're beyond excited. Let's get into the details!

What We’re Bringing

Here’s a little teaser of what you can expect if you swing by the booth:

• Signed leatherbounds and premium editions of the Secret Projects. Yes, signed. We’ve loaded our stock with as many as we could carry, and we mean that literally. Come early. 
• Pins. So many pins. We’ll have plenty of old favorites, and three brand-new ones are making their debut (Yumi Sandershelf Pin Set – Series 1, #004, Elend Character Pin – Series 3, #001, Shai Character Pin – Series 3, #002)
• The newest addition to our Cosmere travel tee collection: Luthadel! If you liked the Urithiru tee, you're going to love this one. (We’re bringing the Urithiru design too, by the way.)
• Stormlight hoodies to cozy up in post-signing (or post-siesta). 
• NEW Worldhopper canvas totes. Yes, they fit all your books.
• NEW Worldhopper umbrellas. Necessary in northern Spain. Very on brand.

And much, much more. In other words… we’re fully stocked!

When we asked what Kara was most excited to debut, she didn’t hesitate: “I do love the new pins, and we also have a new Worldhopper umbrella and a new Worldhopper tote—which are so gorgeous. I’m so excited for them. It makes sense for us to debut them across the world, with the travel theme. That’s one of the reasons we chose them for Spain.”

If you’ve ever wanted to talk Cosmere with the team, snag something signed, or just hang out with other fans who also have a lot of opinions about Elend Venture’s character arc, this is the place to do it.

Celsius is free to attend, so bring a friend. Bring five. We’ll be there all week, soaking in the sun, slinging merch, and doing our best to represent the bureau without, you know, leaving HR paperwork under a toaster.

This is our first time bringing products to an international show, but we hope that it won’t be the last. When we asked Kara what it meant to her to be bringing Team Dragonsteel to Spain, she said: “I think it just shows that we think about [our international fans],” she said. “We are very aware of them. We hear them. This is our first international with products specifically, and hopefully it’s not our last. We want our international fans to know that we do think about them and we appreciate them.”
