Field agents are needed to investigate, uncover secrets, and protect those who cannot defend themselves. And this year at Dragonsteel Nexus 2025, you will have your chance to step into that role.

Every registered attendee of Nexus will receive a confidential case file, F.I.L.E. (Field Intelligence and Logistics Essentials), at badge pickup. Each case is tied to a planetary system where disturbances were first recorded. Yes, some may be quite familiar to you. Together, attendees will need to pool their discoveries to see the full picture of what is unraveling across the cosmere.

Your assignment: investigate, collaborate, and, while we hope it doesn’t come to this, fight. The outcome depends on you.

The Tabloids Are Already Talking…

Speaking of tabloids, the bureau’s recent hire has not gone unnoticed. The notorious Min Fahl, celebrated explorer of Nalthis and now official Silverlight agent, has made headlines. From splashy gossip spreads from the Purelake to black-and-white broadsheets speculating on his top-secret assignment, Min Fahl is suddenly the cosmere’s most watched man. (It doesn’t hurt that he’s also rumored to be romantically linked with our own B’Barbra.)

“Realm-weary bachelor turned bureau man?” the magazines ask. For now, let them speculate. You, our agents, will receive the real details.

The Nexus Game: An Investigation

This year’s Dragonsteel Nexus convention game centers around the bureau’s efforts to coordinate a massive cross-cosmere investigation. Field agents (that’s you!) will:

• Receive your classified case file at registration.
• Work with other attendees to share intel, decode mysteries, and follow leads.

The bureau cannot succeed without you. Bring your wits, your curiosity, and your courage, because as we all know, there’s always another secret.
